Tethu/Tethi (Japanese: トト, Toto for Tethu; テテ, Tete for Tethi) is the playable hero of Ever Oasis. They are a young seedling who must create an Oasis, in a final stand against the forces of Chaos! Tethu/Tethi joins forces with Miura, Roto, and many others, to take part in their quest. You can play as Tethu who is male, and Tethi who is female depending on player choice.
In the beginning the game you are presented with the task of cleaning your older brother Nour's oasis, by using your ability Green Gale, exclusive to Seedling Chieftains. When you complete the task you're presented with another task given is to talk to all the people in the shops, and then after talking, the oasis is corrupted by the chaos, which destroys all of the oasis, and scares the protagonist.
After your character flees from the corrupted oasis, you meet Esna, who helps you create your own oasis by your character using their seed and Esna sprouts the seed into an oasis, which attracts Merchants, Noots, and Travellers.
Tethi/Tethu can complete quests for travellers, which can be converted into a Residents one complete, each seedling resident can own a shop that Noots can buy from, which you can stock and harvest Dewadems from.
In-Game[]
At the start of the game you can customize your character, choosing from eight skin colors, four eye colors and even change the Character's name. As you progress through the game you can unlock new scarves (turbans/headdresses) and new outfits.
The protagonist is the only character who can communicate with Esna, and can use the Green Gale ability.
